For parents the memory and experience of birth can often become a little blurry, after all you are focusing on the work of birthing your baby! As your Birth Photographer I will capture your entire birthing experience in a beautiful, raw, documentary style. I will record your journey through labour, the moment you meet your baby, your baby’s first breath and their first cry, the cutting of the cord and your expression when you see their face for the first time. Precious moments and memories captured for you to look back on forever more.
Birth photography isn't like other kinds of photography. It is so, so, SO important that your birth photographer understands how to respect the birth space and has experience of being around birthing people, which is why I waited until after I had completed my doula training to branch out into the incredible world of birth photography.
As your birth photographer I will find the quiet corners of the room to tuck myself into, so that I can capture those once-in-a-lifetime pictures without distracting, disturbing or drawing you out of your birth bubble. I am so thrilled that I can offer this wonderful service across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes, Essex and Cambridgeshire.
As your Birth Photographer I will meet with you during pregnancy to find out which images are the most important to you, what you would like me to record or not record, and then will be on call for you from 38-42 weeks until your new baby arrives. Payment plans are available if you would like to spread the cost throughout your pregnancy.
